Archive Introduction:

During the global economic recession in 1973, TMMC still expanded its equipment and built a new tin-plated sheet factory, which adopted the patented Ferrostan Process and made tin plates via electroplating. Starting in April 1978, TMMC implemented subsequent plans for electrolytic tin plate manufacturing equipment, and increased the annual output of electrolytic tin plate to 70~98 thousand tons; this was the second leap in TMMC’s capacity.
